The objective of this project was to create a report with recommendations for improving the user experience and user interface of the Parks Foundation of Clark County's website.
The Parks Foundation of Clark County required a thorough assessment of its website's user experience to serve its community and stakeholders better. Through cross-functional collaboration, user research, and detailed analysis, we developed actionable recommendations designed to enhance both the website's functionality and its alignment with the organization's mission.
Role
Project Manager
- Led and collaborated with cross-functional teams to compile a report on usability guidelines and recommendations.
- Established clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for each team member.
- Created a content development strategy for formulating usability guidelines.

- Produced the sitemap, content structure, and prototypes.

Project Scope
This comprehensive project consisted of multiple phases of research, analysis, and strategic planning:
Research & Analysis
- Conducted stakeholder interviews to gather insights and align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Researched and proposed recommendations for a complete overhaul of the PFCC website, including revised navigation and website structure to improve user experience.
- Analyzed the current website to generate recommendations for implementing new features and optimizations.
Prototyping & Development
- Developed prototypes for both desktop and mobile platforms that reflect the preferences of stakeholders and users, highlighting the visual hierarchy of information for each main section.
- Created sample wireframes and prototypes to demonstrate improved information architecture and user flows.
- Compiled a list of testing types to conduct throughout the development stage, ensuring functionality, usability, and the elimination of unnecessary elements.
- Assessed all existing pages to create a comprehensive inventory of issues that need to be addressed in the new website design.
Strategy & Optimization
- Produced a detailed proposal to enhance social media engagement, including recommendations for channel and platform analysis, SWOT analysis, buyer personas, and campaign development.
- Developed SEO recommendations to increase the redesigned website's searchability and drive traffic through keyword usage, targeting, title tags, and a crawlable link structure./li>
